Twin Top Cork

These modern closures for wine bottles are made from agglomerated cork with wafers of pure cork at either end. Your wine is thus in contact with pure cork rather than the cheap glued agglomerate. A silicone coating on the cork reduces the drag when it slides through the corker. Newly purchased corks in an unopened pack do not require sterilisation. To soften the corks for easier insertion by manual corkers, place them in a sieve or colander and pour boiling water over them. Allow the corks to rest in the hot vapour for a few minutes before using.

Storage for 1-5 years
